MSC’s Genesis Series of microwave radio equipment utilizes the latest digital MPEG-2 compression and multiplexing technology with factory efficient manufacturing techniques to produce systems with superior performance, reliability, comprehensive system design flexibility and affordable pricing.

The 70 MHz modulation system can be configured for the transmission of multiple video and audio programs giving the broadcast professional a new and exciting level of performance. No longer are multiple links required to provide multiple programs from the same vehicle. This feature also provides for the conservation of valuable frequency spectrum.

The rack-mounted system is designed to modulate and demodulate digital ready transmitters and receivers used in traditional broadcast venues. Two video channels are provided for in the standard two RU package and additional channels can be provided in a companion single RU chassis.

A significant design feature is the ability to multiplex these additional video and audio channels onto the digital ready transmission without a significant decrease in video performance.

The system’s LCD and OSD features provide for all of the configuration and diagnostic details. These control features provide the user with easy access to the operational configuration menus necessary to fully utilize the system’s capabilities.
